That’s why we’re delighted to announce our sponsorship of the 32nd Shipping Offroad Rally, taking place on 25 April 2026, starting and finishing in Limassol, Cyprus.
Now in its 32nd year, the Shipping Offroad Rally has been a fixture of the Cyprus maritime social calendar since 1994. What began as a local gathering has grown into a much-anticipated annual event, bringing together international shipping professionals, industry partners, and their families for a day of adventure, exploration, and genuine team-building – away from the office and out in the open.
Why We're Involved
The maritime world is a tight-knit one. The relationships built at events like this – informally, over shared experiences rather than conference tables – matter. They’re the foundation of the partnerships and trust that make this industry function at its best.
Last year’s rally was a brilliant reminder of that. Full participation, a memorable day out in nature, and an evening of networking and celebration made it one of the highlights of the industry calendar. We’re proud to have been part of it, and we’re even more excited to be back for 2026 — this time with a team on the track as well as our name on the start line.
The People Behind the Platform
SpecTec has been working alongside maritime operators for over 40 years. In that time, we’ve learned that the work we do only means something because of the people doing it – our team, our customers, and the wider community we’re all part of. Sponsoring events like the Shipping Offroad Rally is one of the ways we put that belief into practice.
The rally is organised by the Maritime Event Team in Cyprus, with this year’s route being designed by last year’s champions, TMH Go Go Gadgets. We’d like to thank the organisers for another year of hard work in bringing the industry together.
