Adam Dennett
Adam Dennett is Chief Executive Officer of SpecTec, the maritime software company behind AMOS, which has supported asset management, maintenance and procurement for fleets worldwide for more than 40 years. He has led the business since 2024, setting its strategy, its direction on AI and its long-term growth plan.
Beyond SpecTec, Adam chairs the Digital Technology Group at the Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) and sits on the SMI Board. In these roles he contributes to UK maritime digital policy and the industry’s work on data standardisation. He holds a Global Executive MBA, awarded with distinction, from Alliance Manchester Business School.
On the Knowledge Hub, Adam writes about the strategic forces shaping shipping: data quality and standardisation, regulation and decarbonisation, and the role of technology in an ageing global fleet.
