Celebrating 40 Years of Innovation: SpecTec’s Global Gathering in La Spezia
I’m thrilled to share that on Monday, May 19, 2025, the global SpecTec team will unite in La Spezia, Italy, to celebrate our 40th anniversary. For the first time, colleagues from Houston to Argentina, Shanghai to Singapore, and many places in between will come together. This gathering truly reflects our belief: “We Are Better Together.”
Reflecting on Our Journey
We’ve planned three days filled with leadership insights, hands-on workshops, team-building activities, and celebrations. These events will highlight the incredible contributions of our global team. In addition, open Q&A sessions will reinforce our commitment to transparency and open dialogue.
Panel Discussion with Industry Leaders
One of the highlights will be a panel discussion moderated by our Chief Commercial Officer, Sas Huntwood. She’ll be joined by three respected industry leaders:
- Jan Eide, Head of IT at Seatrans, will share insights on maritime digital transformation.
- Veselin Bankovic, Managing Director of SpecTec Middle East, will discuss regional market trends.
- Juan Mojón Moreno, Systems and Cyber Security Director at Aeromarine, will explore cybersecurity challenges in the maritime sector.
Together, they’ll examine key industry developments, emerging technologies, and the issues that matter most to our customers.
